Born in Guatemala, birthed by a Salvadorian mother, moved to the US as a toddler. First favorite song was song was <a href="spotify:artist:6XpaIBNiVzIetEPCWDvAFP" data-name="Whitney Houston">Whitney Houston</a>&#39;s cover of &#34;I Will Always Love You&#34; whilst eating cake at her Tía&#39;s house watching The Bodyguard. (For some reason there was always cake.) Then all of a sudden the percussion drops and she hits that note... Fork dropped and that was it... She was hooked! Growing up she was torn between two cultures. She finally decided she could have the best of both worlds. She can listen to the music that she grew up with and &#34;Gringo music&#34;, all with a pupusa in hand.

Besides it&#39;s called Latin, North, and Central America. So I&#39;m American regardless, pendejos!&#34;
