In 2010, Ana joined “Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar,” while in 2014, she proved to be an unstoppable force by winning the gold medal at the 2014 EuroPop Festival in Germany.
Unknown to many, the new Star Pop artist is also the granddaughter of the late Queen of Rock and Roll Elizabeth Ramsey and the niece of the Queen of Soul Jaya. And just like them, she has also been gifted with a distinct sound and an oozing appeal that certainly deserves a larger audience.
Star Music promising artist Ana Ramsey is now back under sub-label StarPop. Her latest single “Walang Tayo” gives the song a true description of a “Hugot” song.
Now she is back with "Tahan" is about a haunting ballad of a person figuratively rope-walking, undecided whether to go out in the rain or take shelter, run towards the person she loves or stop, embrace him or walk away, cry or keep quiet. She is happy in his company but scared to know if he feels the same way. The persona is begging to know if whether he/she is loved back. Jan Aldrin wrote this song in 2017. It took some time before the demo reached Ana Ramsey's team.
