Ana is a Chilean artist living in the city of Santiago. Petit Mal is fruit of the collaborative work with Daniel Bande (Nueva Costa, Itesa), a Chilean artist living in Paris. He recorded, mixed and produced the EP, while Ana composed the music and all the lyrics. Her music is influenced by the decades of the 80's and 90's, and her lyrics portray a glimpse into a dreamy and nostalgic heart, in Spanish, her native language.
Estado de Emergencia is a song about police repression, abuse and the terror experienced during the social outbreak in Chile, in 2019. Mariana Montenegro (ex Dënver) produced this song, and also features in it.
Amarte es Matarme is part of Ana Sofía´s second EP: an exploration of catchy beats, to the sounds of R&B, synthesizers and drums.
