Anandita

Anandita is an Indian-American soulful pop singer-songwriter who is characterized by her dynamic vocal prowess, cathartic lyricism, and relatable storytelling. The 17-year-old was born and raised in the Bay Area of California by Indian immigrant parents. Introduced to music when she was just a toddler, Anandita began playing tunes on the mini-toy keyboard that her parents bought for her. Even at such an early age, she was a music perfectionist, slamming the keys and having small breakdowns over wrong notes. Speaking only Tamil when she was a preschooler, Anandita learned to communicate in English by singing popular American hit songs.

Now based in India, Anandita continues to write and record music, perfecting her craft every day.
