Ancient Waves is a Minneapolis-based rock band formed by singer-songwriter Jarad Miles in 2019. Known for their bold and eclectic rock instrumentation around Miles's deft songwriting, Ancient Waves (formerly Jarad Miles & the Ancient Waves) is comprised of Miles, bassist Andy Nail, drummer Ed Draper, and lead guitarist Andrew Berg.
On the heels of his evocative and introspective 2022 solo album, Standing Upon This Array, Miles and the Ancient Waves have begun releasing hypnotic and heartfelt rock-and-roll gems ahead of a Spring 2026 full album release.
