And That’s the News grew from the passion and appreciation of music founding members Alex Dolven, Ben Dougherty, and Jacob Tracy all shared. Soon after recruiting Will Profitt, the band found its stride; and, their latest member, Mattea Williams, adds beautiful dynamics.

And That’s the News (often referred to as ATTN) was once garage rock sessions, but has since evolved to encompass unique musical and visual identities. Along with appealing and consistent branding, their songs are cohesive and well composed, recalling indie, pop, and rock inspirations from Death Cab for Cutie, Imagine Dragons, Smallpools and more. Grounded in catchy guitar and synth leads accompanying thoughtful lyrics, ATTN pumps out energetic new sounds for a new generation.
