Andania is the music project of West Midlands UK guitar player/songwriter Kevin Ashcroft
Kevin has gigged all over the UK and also in Germany playing either guitar or keyboards. In 2008 Kevin joined Halesowen Roy Orbison tribute artist Barry Steele and gigged in theatres through out the UK for just over 2 years supported by a Beatles tribute. Kevin played a live session with the Roy Orbison tribute show at Children In Need in Leamington Spa which went out live over local radio
In 2016 Kevin went back to guitar and joined up with Australian Country singer Darcy Crawford and played many gigs through out the West Midlands as well playing a Country Rock festival at Newark Showground Lincoln.
Kevin decided during Lockdown to concentrate on recording his own original music ( and the occasional cover ) with guest musicians and vocalists.
The music is an eclectic mix of ballads, country rock, rock n roll and blues - Kevin loves a piano based ballad but is equally at home playing the blues on guitar.
There are no immediate plans to gig as the musicians Kevin uses are busy with their own projects but never say never.
Kevin can also be heard on Black Country Radio Xtra co hosting The Music Gallery with fellow musician Pete Taylor.
