Bristol born and based singer, songwriter and multi-disciplinary artist, anderfield (also known off-stage as Aiden Harmitt-Williams), started out his musical journey at 18 years old, writing albums that were never recorded. Since he was a boy, be it Lego, film or ‘languages’, he’s been drawn to creating as both hobby and career.
He’s always been inspired by gospel greats like Fred Hammond, soul pioneers like Marvin Gaye, Meshell Ndegeocello and D’Angelo, as well as R&B staples like T-Pain and The-Dream. In recent years, with a wider ear he takes to artists like Benjamin Clementine, Yaya Bey and JMSN.
Now, years later, after learning music production and honing his writing and vocal prowess, infused with his Jamaican heritage, he takes inspiration from R&B, soul, reggae, dance and jazz music to sing the blues on his upcoming debut EP, mammal emotion.
