Lead vocalist and songwriter Cheryl, (Andersonlane), grew up in a shed on the tablelands of the New England, which she credits to helping her to connect with the truth, to believe in the value of the ordinary and it is reflected in her writing style. Early in January 2019, Andersonlane released the debut album, ‘This Girl” earning her the title of I.C.M.A Female Artist of the year as well as 2RRR Album of the year 2020. The nomination for Southern Stars Female Rising Star 2019 and multiple song writing award nominations lead to all 4 radio released tracks gaining recognition on the charts.
Cheryl has worked with hit writers, Allan Caswell, Bill Chambers and Luke O’Shea to name a few and is on the never-ending quest toward her destination of writing better songs, hand carving a career along the backroads and highways, with a vocal ability that reminds her audiences what good country music is all about.
