“I grew up surrounded by anime, and I’ve decided to embrace my childhood and really make the music that I want to make.” Coming from Manila, Andi Chang is a Filipino-Chinese singer, songwriter, and producer who self composes and produces all of his tracks as an independent artist. He started his career doing covers of well-known songs in 2022, and came out with his first release ‘On Your Mind’ two years later. Combining his musical influences from his childhood of watching anime and listening to J-Pop, mixed with the local influences of OPM from his country, he was able to find his own sound after years of trying different things. Coming from a non-musical family background, in addition to finding his passion for music late, he is determined to break the noise and to give the people a “different flavor of OPM.”
