Andi Grainger has been singing since he could talk. First learning to play Keyboards, he is mainly self taught on guitar as "it was easier to get to gigs". He has played in local bands, but has spent most of his musical journey as a solo artist, and has had the pleasure of supporting the likes of The Bluetones, Barry Hyde (Futureheads) and James Arthur, and playing at venues ranging from Micropubs to the Main Stage of Newcastle-upon-Tyne's O2 Academy. He describes his sound as "kinda-singer-songwriter-acousticy-storyteller", and takes his influences from a variety of sources, David Bowie, David Gray, Newton Faulkner but to name a few.
