Andile Qongqo is an Afro-jazz pianist, composer, music director, recording artist and music educator from Bloemfontein, South Africa. He has been a music instructor at Free State Musicon since 2004, teaching piano/ keyboards and music theory. He has a Licentiate diploma (LTCL) in Jazz Piano from Trinity College London.

2018 saw the release of Andile’s debut album: Q Signature (Piano Solo). The first live performance of this album was at the Free State Arts Festival in 2019, the performance was a piano solo performance.
In 2019 Qongqo was nominated in four categories by the Mzantsi Jazz Awards: Best Jazz Album, Best Contemporary Album, Best New Comer In Jazz and Best Male Jazz Artist, for his Q Signature (Piano Solo) album.

In 2020 he released two singles called
<a href="spotify:album:4D0fRzGEu273i2qLM83l2o" data-name="Heel the Land">Heel the Land</a> and <a href="spotify:track:25OMHDR6StIXXGO3VoAwLh" data-name="Children in the Park">Children in the Park</a> that were released worldwide.

Andile also did a Solo Piano Performance at Gluwhein &amp; Jazz with guest artist Nduduzo Makhathini – Windmill Casino in 2018. In 2018 Andile was Pianist for the renowned bassist and composer Mlungisi Gegana’s Trio live at Jazz On The Lawn – Windmill Casino 2018. In 2018 the Andile Q Trio was live at Jazz On The Lawn – Windmill Casino. The Andile Q Trio performed live at Cherry Festival 2017. In 2017 he was Pianist for American recording artist, bassist &amp; composer: Tom Knific at the University of the Free State. In 2016 he was a music director and composer for the Sophia Town The Musical Bloemfontein.
