Andre Gibson aka Dre’sco is a songwriter/producer from Chicago. Beginning his musical career as the leader of Universal Togetherness Band (UTB), Andre established a significant following nationally that has grown to international levels in the past 30 years.
After parting ways with UTB, Andre started an independent label, Chiat Records (2004), which has produced and released multiple projects available on all streaming platforms.
His musical credits include Chicago Party Project retro release, and the Universal Togetherness Band vinyl album released with the Numero Group. Additionally, Andre has a various list of tracks licensed to Netflix and other production companies, including, Netflix series EASY, FX's SNOWFALL and other international affiliated syndications.
Andre is a long standing affiliate writer with BMI (1981) and owner of Dre’sco Publishing Inc.
Recently performed in Chicago at @RADIUS with the UK group @HOT CHIP on their hit single DOWN off their new album FREAKOUT which is a sample of one of André’s Universal Togetherness Band compositions ‘ More Than Enough’ (‘82)
