Andrea Tarquini

Acoustic guitar player and singer-songwriter Andrea Tarquini’s born and raised in Rome, Italy, but moved to Milan where he works. His debut took place during the &#39;90s on the best italian stages as he was <a href="spotify:artist:5EtwKqr5yvgzxrP0VnDhaR" data-name="Stefano Rosso">Stefano Rosso</a> bandmate. After many years playing International folk music, thanks to fellowship with Luigi Grechi De Gregori, Andrea Tarquini released his first cd REDS! Canzoni di Stefano Rosso (2013) a tribute album to his mentor repertoire. This album, produced by Paolo Giovenchi, was ranked among the best five cover albums at the prestigious Tenco Plaques prize 2013. In 2014 the good press results he got, made Andrea Tarquini become the first and only italian songwriter entering the fine and prestigious consortium of Bourgeois Guitars endorsers. In 2016 Andrea released DISCO ROTTO, his debut album as author. Produced by fiddler Anchise Bolchi this album too got ranked among the best 5 debut album at the Tenco Plaques. In 2017 Andrea Tarquini won the “Beppe Quirici plaque for the best arrangement” at Premio Bindi 2017.
