Andreas Wistrand, also called Andy is a Swedish musician and sing- and songwriter.
He's been writing his own music since the age of 6. He started of as a drummer, and bassplayer, in several different bands and constellations, but since 2002 he's been playing with his own band "Andreas Wistrand Band".
The first full-length live-album "Sliten bön" was released 2010 and five years later his studio album "2" was released. Recorded in Studio Emanuel and mastered by Fascination Street Studio. Produced by Andreas and Jarl "Jalle" Furingsten. His 3rd full length album “Flyg iväg” (fly away) was released in November 2020. A studio album.
Andreas writes songs with existential lyrics, about life, faith, the ups and downs in life. Some are like psalms and others are more like letters with a touch of pop and rock...
