Andrés Soto is a Latín Grammy-nominated composer from Costa Rica based in Los Angeles. He has written original music for Film, TV, theater, and video games, in addition to concert works that have been performed by top orchestras in the US and Latin America. In 2024 the New York Philharmonic and Juilliard premiered his “Fantasia en la Plaza”, commisioned as part of a grant from the Sphinx Foundation. His orchestral work “Rapsodia Aérea” was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2024.
In 2023 he received the prestigious Reel Change Film Fund from New Music USA for his score for the Colombian-American film “Colibrí”. He has written 4 albums for Universal Production Music, which have been featured in TV broadcasts around the world on networks such as ABC, CBS, ESPN, BBC, Channel 4, Univision, Telemundo, Golf Channel, FOX, and many others, including social media content by the NBA and 2K Games. His orchestral music is published by Symphonica Productions.
