Currently based in the historic region of Viedma-Carmen de Patagones, Andrés Vera is a musician and composer whose work embodies the richness and diversity of modern Latin American music. His artistic journey began under the mentorship of renowned Uruguayan bassist Daniel Maza, whose influence was instrumental in shaping Andrés’ unique compositional and interpretative identity.
Andrés' music is defined by his ability to weave sonic textures that traverse genres such as contemporary folk, candombe, and tango. This warm and intense fusion lies at the heart of his original compositions, where Latin American rhythms and traditions are reimagined to explore new forms of expression.
He is currently presenting his debut album, Paisajes del Movimiento, a collection that spans over a decade of original compositions. The album offers a musical journey through different shades and landscapes, capturing the essence of his creative evolution. His most recent concert in 2017 featured prominent musicians such as Mariano "Tiki" Cantero, Ernesto Snajer, and Pablo Yanis, underscoring his commitment to artistic excellence.
