Andrew Celestine is a Copenhagen-based musician, singer and songwriter. He was born in Rennes, France, and moved to Denmark in 2015 where he compose his music.
His Debut EP "Shattered" is the result of a two year self-taught journey, a punchy and grinding electronic odyssey where the five tracks of the EP borrow from different genres, but are bound together by a dark soundscape and melancholic melodies. The ensemble is fed by Synthpop textures and insistent beats, and as an underlying soundtrack to the EP are dozens of Celestine's recordings of his daily life in Copenhagen; the stir of the many construction sites in the region, the click of his kettle or even the crackling sound of the dead leaves sitting in his studio have all found themselves like analog layers in the overall soundscape.
