Andrew Hopson

A true country boy at heart, Andrew Hopson grew up in the small town of Tazewell, Tennessee, enjoying the typical pursuits of hunting, fishing, swimming, and the water of Norris Lake. Surrounded by country and Southern rock music from a young age, it’s no surprise that Andrew’s own music embraces a traditional country sound with a modern approach.

Hopson co-wrote his debut single, “Stronger Than That,” with music industry veteran Steve O’Brien (Brooks & Dunn, John Michael Montgomery). Released earlier this year, “Stronger Than That” reached #50 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart and received extensive airplay on more than 80 country stations across the US.

Andrew Hopson is ready to reach even bigger audiences with his upcoming release, “New to Neon,” coming September 25. Showcasing the young artist’s distinctive baritone vocals, the single is a storytelling ballad of a straight-laced girl trying to find her way through the bright lights of Music City. Written by songwriting powerhouses Brian Callihan (Cole Swindell, Dylan Scott) and Phillip O'Donnell (George Strait, Blake Shelton, Billy Ray Cyrus), “New to Neon” will usher in an exciting chapter in the fast-rising artist’s career.
