Hip Hop and R&B artist Andru Winter, whose diverse sound has been compared to artists like Drake and Ty Dolla Sign, comes from Canadian music royalty: born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, he is a descendent of the famed Canadian opera singer Portia White. Andru began his career in the music industry in 2011 as a music video director, establishing his own company Andru Winter Films, but was forced to stop after the sudden loss of his vision. Spending five years almost completely blind, he underwent two high-risk surgeries that restored most of his sight -- after which he re-entered the music scene quite literally with a new vision and purpose. Andru made his musical debut in 2018, releasing his pop single Wrong Time and the follow-up single Incredible Hulk featuring Kaleb Simmonds. Andru is currently preparing for the release of his debut EP in collaboration with Kaleb Simmonds.
