Andy is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Chester, England.
Andy toured the UK extensively playing bass and performing backing vocals with Chester band T'zuka between 2001-2004.
From 2004 to 2011, Andy played drums and wrote songs for various bands/artists around Chester, Merseyside, North Wales & more.
Between 2011-2017, Andy fronted <a href="spotify:artist:4rARwHCpNFWwGwj2by8yZ7" data-name="Esaius">Esaius</a>, who recorded and released 2 albums independently to critical acclaim. He also wrote for other artists during this period.
In 2018, Andy formed North Wales based, <a href="spotify:artist:6RWpDKMgURQqMiZOZJIFxa" data-name="Soul Jacker">Soul Jacker</a>. Their debut single 'Nocebo' won a BMA in the USA. This lead to them signing a record deal with Atomic Records.
Soul Jacker's only album 'Fantasmagoria' was well received & was nominated for the Welsh Music Prize. Mainly due to COVID, the band split in 2021.
In 2021, Andy collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:4XOxk041LiOx5mU5quDAao" data-name="Mark Bleasdale">Mark Bleasdale</a> on the film soundtrack for 'Dance Connects Us' by Yasmin Hickl which won an EFFA.
Andy's debut solo single 'Live Your Life' soon followed and received much positive critical acclaim, BBC airplay & reached no.1 in the Banks Australia Music Chart. He since released 2 solo eps.
In 2023, Andy had a brief spell on bass with <a href="spotify:artist:1WXzXEhBdBgETwmyMcZ5il" data-name="Firehead">Firehead</a> (featuring Jamie Murphy of <a href="spotify:artist:76vZk3TWaVcNiP7H7in9fu" data-name="Space">Space</a>) and recorded a so far unreleased EP at Faktory Studios with Simon Jones of <a href="spotify:artist:2cGwlqi3k18jFpUyTrsR84" data-name="The Verve">The Verve</a> behind the desk. Andy left the band not long after the sessions.
