Having written and co-written in many styles with many artists over my career so far, in 2015 I put together the Blue Mountain Rockers as a vehicle for my country and folk writing. I wanted to explore writing for traditional acoustic instruments, and try to focus on telling a story in a powerful and direct way, with as few distractions as possible.
In 2016, we released our first record 'Turn The Lights Out' - a collection of recent songs that I felt belonged together on an album. I'm thrilled with the results, and very grateful to all the collaborators on this record. The personnel are:
