Angami

Seattle-born Nicholas Lee Buttacavoli, aka Angami, was signed to ZOO Music, one of the most prominent international labels for full-on psytrance,label managed by Atomic Pulse! He has played numerous events around Mexico such as Mexico DF, Morelia Mich, Leon Guanajuato, Guadalajara Jal, Cabo San Lucas, Monterrey Nl, Acapulco Gro, and Ixtapa Zihuatanejo Gro, sharing stages with top international DJs and producers. Nick has also played in California, Oregon, and Washington, and we are incredibly honored to have him a Seattle Psy Ops resident!

Nick moved to Mexico when he was 2 years old. He attended college in Mexico City to study Audio Engineering and Electronic Music Production. A DJ since 2002 and producer since 2008, Nick became one of the main resident DJ’s and promoters at Varuna After Hours in Ixtapa, Mexico for about 3 years beginning in 2009; he brought top international psytrance artists to Ixtapa for the first time including Waio, Volcano (side project of Vertical mode) and others. After Varuna, Nick became the main resident DJ at Nexus for a year. Under his side project Delic, he released his first EP called “Resisted one” in 2012 and appeared on his first compilation of various artists from Mexico in 2014, as well as appearing on a Serbian release: Molok (Freaqued Frequency’s progressive psy project). 8 months later, he released his second EP called “Artificial” with Ibidelyc Recordings Ibiza.
