In 2007, the group, whose foundation was laid by one of the current group members, Utku Arslan, started to work under the name Langona. Langona performs the Melodic Death/Thrash Metal style, and has participated in many concert organizations and festivals such as Rock'n Antalya and Rock Me. In 2009, Langona had to take a break from their musical studies due to various problems. The group entered into a new formation in the summer of 2011 and continued it's activities under the name Angona with new group members and style. Symphonic and Turkish music elements are included in this new formation. Angona named this new style Symphonic Alaturka Metal. The Angona group, which has the distinction of being the first in the world in it's style, also performed 2 E.P. (Extended Play), 8 Singles and 1 F.L. (Full Length) adorned the album.
