Angus Munro is a multi-faceted vocalist with a four-octave range that can break glass and suitcases full of piano-soaked memories.
London-born and Scotland-bred, his 2014 EP “Shooting First” received international acclaim for it’s 60’s nostalgic sound and vocal gymnastics that saw Angus tour North America and Eastern-Europe.
2017 saw the release of “Mirror Man” - a deeply personal account of the loss of his father, subsequent breakdown and triumphant recovery - armed to the teeth with a 6-piece indie band, brass section and heavenly-voiced backing singers.
Angus has toured with a wide range of artists from Postmodern Jukebox, Charlie Barnes (Bastille), Scouting For Girls to The Hoosiers, Snarky Puppy and Tom Jones; all of whom have been weirded out by him.
Cutting a strange figure in the current Scottish music scene, Angus is workshopping his newest funk-influenced songs with vim, vigour and a tenacity that can only be seen to believed.
“The best artist we’ve ever had in session.” - BBC Radio Scotland
"A voice like you wouldn't believe...I don't know how big his range is but it's bonkers." - The National
“A guy who knows how to chuck out a good pop song - just love this!” - Jim Gellatly
"Soulful & outrageous...the highest range I've ever heard." - The Scotsman
“Mesmerising” - The Skinny
"Tightly energetic & precisely punchy" - The Herald
