“Growing up, I listened to a range of music. Even now, my music taste is all over the place. I love my pop music, you know? While on the other hand I eat, sleep, and bleed my rock. But then again, indie/alternative has my heart. Like I said, it’s truly a whole range of music. God, sometimes there’ll even be just straight piano music cranked through my speakers. It definitely inspired my own sound.”

In 2021, <a href="spotify:artist:75FxeWhueTvaejDNr25ePc" data-name="angxl">angxl</a> made his first debut album, “<a href="spotify:album:6o0NmnUHbgy40Xwx2n7bjm" data-name="from now until forever">from now until forever</a>”, and the results came back better than he had anticipated.

“Oh my god when I first released it, I would check the streams daily, almost religiously. I would see that I got a couple hundred and I swear my heart would stop. Now that I’ve got my two albums, yes a third is coming, and my two singles out, I look at the streams and I am astonished. How I’ve hit over 250K streams is beyond me, but I’m forever grateful.”
