Animals For Hands is a five person project from Austin, TX. Comprised of members Richie Alea (guitar/vocals), Christopher David (guitar/ vocals), Harrison Gilder (drums/vocals), Patrick LaRussa (keyboard/vocals) and Hart McMillan (bass guitar/vocals).
Utilizing a variety of influences, Animals for Hands tries to keep a pleasing mix of melody and drive that encourages one to move to the groove, as well as providing a deep amount of musical layers for the listener to delve into.
Beginning in 2014 as a 3-piece, Animals for Hands released their debut EP in the summer of 2015. Member Christopher David hopped on board in 2016 and the newly formed 4-piece began building material to ultimately release their 6 song EP, "Cocoon", in June of 2018.
Now, joined by LaRussa on keys and vocals, the 5-piece aims to bring harmony and color to the world with their newest release, "Painted Lady".
