The name, AnimHeru can be loosely translated as God or Father of Movement. Anim, being a shortened version of the word animation, and Heru, which references the ancient Egyptian god of the sky. Not that I consider myself even remotely being a Father or God of movement. But with every song that I create, it is my hope to get people moving in some sort of physical or mental way. My album Emergence, is a mix of House Music, R&B, Hip Hop, and Drum and Bass. And if I can get people to bob their heads, move their feet a little, or be a welcome distraction, I've done my job...
