"Inspired and Inspiring” is one way to describe 23 year old, Anke Richards. The South African native writes moving, modern numbers that seem lost in time, songs culled from a lifetime of spiritual exploration. Richards tugs at your heart strings with every note and nuance of her clear, dark and somber sounding voice. Yet to release a debut album, she’s already garnered over 17 million streams on Spotify and featured on prominent Editorial Playlists. A mix of elements from a range of artists, Richards incorporates the airy, raspy high end sparkle of Billie Eilish and Tate McRae with the ressonance of LoFi/Pop that blend and tie together seamlessly by the singer/songwriter’s voice. Back in 2019, she was discovered by Indie label Cloudlight Records and quickly caught the attention of Grammy and BMA nominated songwriter and established music producer, Dante Lattanzi, of Caelum Music Production, inking a management and production deal. She is currently developing and working on a plethora of musical content to be released in 2025 with notable co-writes in the making."
