NEW COUNTRY IS POP – WITHOUT THE PLASTIC.

For Ann, “New Country” isn´t just the next big hype but a long-nurtured passion.
As a 14-year-old girl, she discovers her love for Country while listening to the American Country Countdown on AFN (American Forces Network). From that moment on, she plays in a variety of bands, writes her own songs, and launches her first solo music project in 2011.
Awarded several times (e.g. 'German Rock & Pop Awards', AKADEMIA Awards & German Songwriting awards), she has already attracted attention across the borders of Germany on radio and television stations.

Passionate live performers, Ann and her band are regulars on the German and European tour circuit. She appeared as opener for Tebey, Jax Hollow, actor Tom Beck, Jupiter Jones, country legend Tom Astor, Michael Schulte, Laith Al-Deen, shooting star LOI and Nick Howard as well as at the C2C Country t o Country in London's 0 2 Arena alongside main acts such as the Dixie Chicks, The Band Perry, Lee Ann Womack, Brad Paisley & Sam Hunt.

Ann Doka's new album RED LINES - once again produced with her US-producer Jonathan Rice - shows what NewCountry from Germany can be: Fresh and honest songwriter-pop, that feeds the fans on recordings as well as live. But always with a little dash of Nashville!
