ANN

ANN is a Producer-Artist born and raised in Hong Kong and is now based in London. An Alternative R&B, Psychedelic Pop artist who uses live instruments to complement a variety of expressive synths and percussive patterns, while the vocals explore different melodies and tonality to capture different emotions. ANN has been releasing music since December 2023.

Growing up surrounded by all the sub-genres of Rock, ANN naturally drifted towards Indie Rock as her first love. As her music tastes expanded, the larger atmosphere of songs such as Rain Song by Led Zeppelin and Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix caught her attention. It is evident in her production, that regardless of the genre or intended artist the soul of a ballad tends to appear.

ANN has been producing since 2019. Her earliest work of producing Aeden Alverez’s break-out song ‘After Always’ has over a million streams on Spotify. While continuing to work on her production in her own time, she focused on gaining experience through live shows working as a sound engineer at festivals throughout Hong Kong. In recent years, working under Robert Porter a top Sound Engineer from the 90’s Canto-pop scene, gaining invaluable knowledge through studio sessions and conversation. With more years of experience and experimentation behind her now, she is utilizing her abilities to take what she hears in her head and bring it to life. ANN has just released her first collab ‘In The Morning’ to all streaming platforms.
