Polish, Canadian, singer, songwriter and performer. She has a smoky-pop voice, animated stage presence, and a sexy one-of-the-boys kind of personality that ranks up there with Gwen Stefani and Debbie Harry. Toronto’s own, Anna Cyzon is a bona fide rock star.
Born in Krakow Poland, Cyzon came to Canada with her family in 1990. She attended U of T where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. Her career in media began publicly, when she auditioned for Canadian Idol in 2004.
A former Top 20 Idol finalist and MTV Canada host, Cyzon represented her homeland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010, placing second in the pre-selections with her song “Love Me" from her self titled independent debut. She's since followed with the release of a 7 song EP, a full-length Polish and English album, and Letters to Love (2020). The music video for her highly infectious “Wannabe", has over 3 million views on YouTube.
In December 2018, while finishing writing and recording L2L with long time friend and Toronto producer, <a href="spotify:artist:3KqipUFoREtqUzOizngnRd" data-name="James McLeod">James McLeod</a>, Cyzon released “Mistletoe”, an original Christmas song she and McLeod co-wrote but it wasn't until 2021 that Cyzon would write and release her most personal singles "Losing You" and "Lay Your Body". In addition that year, she co- wrote and released a Polish duet, "Pierwszy Raz" with <a href="spotify:artist:3OSfKHDiUYxwTC86fRH0Cb" data-name="Alergen">Alergen</a>'s, Pawel Nawrocki. "Songs give me purpose, to connect with people around the world." - Cyzon
