Anna Hazo

Pittsburgh-born singer/songwriter, Anna Hazo, released her first EP (Not Sayin' Names) at age 17, her follow-up second EP (Talk About Us) at 18, and EDM Collab with DJ-VBDX (After My Love) at age 20. Hazo’s distinctive, soulfully rich vocals and artistic shaping envelop every track. As a songwriter, she is masterful at targeting life’s most vulnerable moments and stretching those milliseconds into three minutes of universally-understood introspection. Balancing her own fresh sound while occasionally nodding to retro vibes, Hazo’s music adds to this fast-growing and widely-appealing niche. Recording studio collaborations with musicians such as drummer Mike Sleath (Shawn Mendes, Francesco Yates), guitarist Arianna Powell (Halsey, Nick Jonas, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo), drummer Aaron Spears (Usher, Ariana Grande), and rapper Alyssa Marie have been special highlights. "Listening to incredibly talented musicians add their unique contributions to music I created is both flattering and humbling, and it feels like withdrawal each time we're done." Regarding the creative process, she adds, “Finding a cool ear-candy sound and building a hook around it may grab people’s attention, but crafting a song with enough layers to keep their attention is a much harder challenge.”
