Anna Ingerby

Anna Ingerby is a Singer/Songwriter from south of Sweden.
She wrote her first song when she was 16, it was her poem - ”can I make music out of this?” - she thought while sittning playing on her old mini keyboard.
Finding so much joy and creativity in it, she continued to write songs, and the next christmas the keyboard turned into a big, new keyboard.


In high school she started to record her own songs in the school’s studio, encouraged by her music teacher.
Her music is wide in spectra and can be formed without given rules.
Anna compose her songs mainly on piano/keyboard but can play some guitar and ukulele.
Songwriting is her to-go-place to rewind, process emotions, thoughts.
She can wake up with a melody in her head or just words, then she knows that she has to create or at least play.
The year of 2020 a lot of her new songideas came to her that way.
When busy doing something else, music is often there to knock on the door to her brain.


Her first release Broken came to life out of grief.
Since then Anna has tried different sounds because she likes to try different things or maybe - she won’t put herself in a main genré just yet...;)
