Anna Meline

Swedish artist and songwriter Anna Meline has been writing her own songs since she was a kid. Learning to play the guitar at the age of 13, she began writing songs more actively. She explains how writing is important to her, as a means of handling different emotions. She studied music at the local high school, dreaming of recording her own songs.

She developed an interest in music production, and released her debut album “I Couldn’t Stay”, a 7 track album with influences from different genres. More interests are filmmaking and photography, which can be seen in her work as well.

Following her album release, Anna has kept on recording new songs, and is currently releasing them one at a time. Her most streamed single is “Torn Apart”, a ballad about moving on from a break up. Other releases include “Pictures and Words” and “Some of Me”. The former is a fine tuned emotional ballad, while the latter carries more of a chill, acoustic pop/country sound.

After recently upgrading her studio, more songs are scheduled to be released. As previously, the genres are somewhat varied, and the new songs have influences from both pop and country music.

Personally, Anna also has a strong interest in marketing, and took her master’s degree in 2023. On her spare time, Anna loves to spend time by the ocean. On her social media channels, ocean scenery is frequently posted, as she goes there to relax. In her own words, “that is where I go to find creative energy!”.
