Anna Nita

Anna Nita made her debut in 2020 with the release of her EP 'Insulated'. Her single 'Cloud Nine' immediately made its way into the top 50 on national radio station NPO Radio 2 Soul & Jazz. As a singer and songwriter, she draws inspiration from icons such as Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Sade and Alicia Keys.

Growing up in a family full of musicians, she creates &#34;mindful neo-soul&#34; with intriguing lyrics on topics such as female empowerment and dealing with hyper-sensitivity. Last year Anna Nita was nominated for the Limburg Pop Prize in the category &#34;Best Newcomer&#34;. Her mini-album &#34;I Feel You&#34; will be released at the end of 2022 in collaboration with producer <a href="spotify:artist:4mRAdzbdUDWVyTGuVV8TS6" data-name="Kijk Een Ster">Kijk Een Ster</a>. The first single of the album, titled &#34;I Feel You&#34;, was featured on Candy&#39;s World, Candy Dulfer&#39;s radio program on Sublime.

Her live band consists of guitarist Maarten Cima, pianist Tizaan Alphonso, bassist Michel Henquet, and drummer Wouter Gulikers. Anna Nita has played as a supporting act for acclaimed jazz singer <a href="spotify:artist:0CcvfJAMRa28MnCnujCdXQ" data-name="Lady Blackbird">Lady Blackbird</a> and is booked to perform at festivals such as Jazz OUT Fest Limburg, Bruis Festival (4/9/2022, Maastricht) and Sea Bottom Jazz Festival (17/9/2022, Lelystad).
