Anna Sollewijn is a promising talent on the Dutch pop/jazz scene. This summer she released her debut EP ‘ANNA’ consisting of self-written music infused with jazzy singer-songwriter influences and a clear nod to songwriters such as Stevie Wonder and Eloise. The music enchants with rich, accessible harmonies and melodies, and is further enriched by beautiful choruses and harmonious backing vocals. Together with the depth of the lyrics, which explore themes such as heartbreak and identity crisis, she creates a musical experience that lingers.
Anna is currently doing a theater tour with Karin Bloemen's new show. This tour features Anna as a young talent. She combines this with a Masters in Jazz, which she is pursuing partly in New York and partly in Amsterdam.
