Anna Stova

Born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Anna traveled to Canada with her family at the age of 5 and quickly found herself involved in music & dance, both North American as well as Traditional Bulgarian.

Being a staple of Ottawa's live music scene as one of the lead vocalists of Funk/R&B/Soul 7 Piece Band, The Hornettes, and supporting vocals for a Sly & The Family Stone tribute band, Sly-High, Anna has tuned her vocals in preparation for releasing her own music.

So here we are!

While raising 2 daughters over the past 8 years, Anna has been taking her time at getting more involved in releasing her own music. With the help of her husband/producer Greg BIGSTUFF Campbell, she has been getting more consistent at providing quality tracks in a variety of formats.

Anna's powerful, smooth, and infectious vocal provides a serious sense of connection with her listener. Her latest release, a cover of Eagles vocalist Don Henley's "The Boys of Summer" proves this with an emotional performance comparable to todays most popular artists.

With more on the horizon involving solo releases, work with another upcoming project, and her local performances, Anna is doing what she loves and is very grateful for anyone who discovers her music and makes it part of their day.
