Annalyse

Annalyse is a vibrant, young emerging singer-songwriter who captivates through the depth of her lyrics and passion in her voice. Her style has an edge that is unique in its production, genuinely, and versatility. A St Louis native, she has been creating music in various genres; growing as a songwriter and performer since she began professionally at the age of 16. Now 20 years old, she has since played at The Pageant - St. Louis; Six Flags, St. Louis Amphitheater. She has recorded two EP’s, several singles, and continues through her up-coming release of “The Break Thru,” her new EP.

Annalyse’s most recent record, soon to be released, has been in the works for a year. The songs are a culmination of experiences from which she’s taken inspiration in the transitions between high school and college; childhood and independence. The themes are centered around love and relationships; personal growth, adventure, and travel. This record is set to a pop sound, with an urban edge. “The Break Thru” EP features her versatility in sound and songwriting, with a variety of up-tempo works that are juxtaposed by a stripped- down ballad. Her background as a classical pianist shines through in aspects of the music; her complex ear for sounds and harmonies add a new dimension to her music. Annalyse looks forward to sharing her new sounds, revelations, and versatile vocal abilities which are all in this new record.

Annalyse has a broad range of experience in various genres and styles of music, as well as professional training and education. Being raised in a musically inclined family, her passion was born at the piano; others would argue, at the karaoke machine. She began classical piano lessons at the young age of seven, and continued through high school and even now into her college years with professors. Classical music was not the only thing she was exposed to; her grandfather had a drive for jazz, big band, and old folk tunes that shaped her passions on piano. She has since developed a wide repertoire of music, and has many influences and abilities in all genres. She gained experience singing through her involvement with the worship team at her church; while through worship leading gained knowledge on arranging, orchestration, and production of music. Beginning professionally as a Christian singer-songwriter in the industry, she has successfully crossed genres with ease, and has gained knowledge and experience that has shaped her into the musician she is today. Currently, Annalyse continues pursuing her professional career of classical and jazz music, as well as contemporary composing and songwriting majors at Webster University - St. Louis, MO.

Her developing skills, growing influences, and networking continues as she currently resides in St. Louis. Annalyse has a passion for people, social activism, and for those suffering from chronic pain. Her desire in the industry and through her music is to create an uplifting, fresh perspective on the world; life experiences, and relationships.
