Annette Denton is an award winning singer and songwriter, born and raised in the south. She enjoys a wide variety of music genres but her writing and performance tends to gravitate toward a unique hybrid of CCM and show tunes.
Annette enjoys leading worship and sharing her songs and stories at various venues and platforms. She was excited to be part of The Christmas Miracle Tour in 2019. She released a new EP, Break Free, on March 20th, 2020, and won the 2020 “Artist of the Year” People’s Choice award at the International Christian Film Festival.
Annette has been busy writing in 2021, while developing her own production skills, and was nominated best songwriter and best performing artist for the 2021 International Christian Film Festival where she performed and received the winning award of Best Songwriter during the ICFF Awards ceremony. She is also pleased to announce “Something More Than That”, a recent song that she produced in her studio.
In 2023, Annette’s song, Lifting Me Up, was featured in the closing scene of the movie, Don’t Say My Name. The movie is now available on Amazon and has gained over three million views on YouTube. Annette is currently working on a new music project to be announced in the near future!
