Antero Sleeps formed in December of 2009 in Austin, Texas with the purpose of creating a concept album based on science fiction stories written by the band.
During the recording of Titan, Antero Sleeps reached out to c h i a s m a for collaboration. c h i a s m a are creators of fantastic noises & textures and were the perfect backdrop to the songs. Antero Sleeps speak to characters and events, while Chiasma illustrate the Cosmos in which the stories take place. The final collaborator on Titan is Isabella Dawson who contributed the piano work at the end of Titan.
Titan was performed by Antero Sleeps and recorded/mixed by Andrew Storrow of Cosmic Fuzz Recordings at The Recording Conservatory of Austin - April 7, 8 and April 15 2012.
Antero Sleeps is no longer an active band, however, this project was a labor of love and will continue to be shared.
