Anthem Bluez first started rapping in 2001 in Queens New York under the name Novelist. His early influences include Nas, D Block, Mobb Deep and Styles P. Prior to him rapping, he always had a talent for creative writing. Anthem Bluez paints vivid street tales over hardcore East Coast beats but is also extremely versatile in all aspects of Hip Hop. In 2006 he was incarcerated in Pennsylvania where he honed in on his craft. Soon after his release, in 2012 he released "Mr. Bar Association" on Datpiff.com under the name Novelist, than in 2013 released "Memoirs of a Novelist" under his new stage name "Anthem Bluez". In 2019 He released “Destiny” on all platforms and followed up with “The Forgotten King” to start 2021 with a bang!! He is currently in the process of recording more music and building his catalogue in hopes the masses can feel and/or relate to his pain his joys his failures and his triumphs. God is Great!!!
