Anthony Ferreira (ASCAP) is a composer, conductor, educator, writer, and filmmaker. He received his MM in Choral Conducting from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in 2021 and his BM in Composition from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2019.
Ferreira's most recent albums were born from COVID-related lockdowns which forced him to get creative for his job as a church Music Director. They are anthologies of the most-requested hymns he arranged for organ, choir, orchestra, solo violin, and various other solo instruments, lauded by listeners as some of the "most innovative and beautiful" arrangements these hymns had ever received. Physical copies can be purchased at anthonyferreira.bandcamp.com/releases
Outside of his academic and professional commitments, Anthony enjoys creating with his friends under the TheseGuys moniker. Daddy & Son's (2018) was their debut movie musical. Liquid Gas (2019), their debut stand-alone album, features a gamut of genres from pop to gospel and everything in-between. Chronic Dandruff (2020) was Ferreira's second stand-alone album, and saw his continued commitment to a wide variety of genres, as well as satirical--and often political--content. Ferreira hopes you enjoy listening to his music and if you don't, please don't tell him. He has a Compliments Only™ contact policy.
