Originally hailing from Caracas, Venezuela, Anton Vic is a latino alternative emo artist based in Brighton, UK. His music tells deeply personal but universally relatable stories that explore themes of anxiety, alienation, and the search for your place in the world.
They are songs that speak of Anton's own remarkable journey: one that began with aspirations for a life onstage born from watching the rock and pop-punk greats on MTV, but which forever seemed out of reach in the dire social, economic, and political climate of his birth country.
And so at a young age, he packed up his bags, said goodbye to his family and friends, and booked a one-way ticket to London, arriving with nothing more than a determination to make his dreams come true – "a leap of faith", he says today.
Having amassed 10+ million streams and earned editorial looks on Spotify's The New Alt, Rock List, and Misfits 2.0 playlists, Amazon Music's Breakthrough Rock and Alternative playlists, and support from BBC Radio 1's Future Alternative.
