Born Anthony Williams on March 17, 1994 in New Haven, Connecticut, Antwillz is from low income areas with high crime rates. As an escape, Antwillz immersed himself in hop hop where he was able to identify with rappers stories of similar struggle. In high school, Antwillz discovered his own talent of rapping and after rapping for multiple years, in 2018 Antwillz decided to take to take rap seriously in hopes to spread the messages that have become important to him. With hard work and good decisions, Antwillz was able to get out of the hood and realize decisions that are made at a young age can have lasting effects throughout adulthood. By combining the genres of trap and conscious rap, Antwillz highlights many social issues that plague his community. Antwillz hopes to use his music to help guide inner city youth navigate life and make the right choices.
