AOK

Born and raised in Tehran, AOK (pronounced Ay Oh Kay) spent his early years living in Greece and Italy before calling England his home. From a young age, this talented artist was exposed to different genres of music from across the globe, all of which have left their stamp in his art. Influenced by an array of artists including Red Hot Chilli Peppers ,Michael Jackson, James Brown, The Fugees , Lil Wayne and Juice Wrld, AOK has been perfecting his craft both sonically and lyrically for quite some time. Standing as a multi-talented individual, the London-based artist is also known for his superior skills in engineering, mixing and production. Paying close attention to the greats, his cultured background has enabled him to create an authentic sound enriched with flavoursome textures that stay true to his artistry and ultimately pave a lane of his own. Merging all genre-defining boundaries into one seamless and fluent wave of sound, it’s almost impossible to box AOK under one specific genre. Lacing slick backdrops with dynamic, dexterous and memorable bars, the emerging lyricist has proved his ability to not only adapt but create music for any given mood.
