AOMJOBY is the stage name of Dylan Joby Rubenacker, an artist whose name reflects both his personal journey and his roots. Throughout his career, he has embraced different aliases—including Yung Joby and Joby Slaughter—as he evolved his artistry and brand.

Originally from Seattle, WA, AOMJOBY’s musical foundation stems from his deep passion for dance and self-expression. His transition into music came naturally, blending his rhythmic instincts with a unique sonic identity.

AOMJOBY first gained recognition in 2018 with the release of his SoundCloud EP Line Up, which introduced his multi-genre approach and signature vocal inflections. He solidified his versatility with tracks like No Love, Dash, and Tokyo Drift, showcasing a dynamic range that resonated with listeners. In April 2019, he teamed up with AOMG’s CEO, Jay Park, to deliver the single Takeout, further cementing his presence in the scene.

In 2021, he released the project YUNG JOBY, a raw and introspective collection delving into life’s struggles and everyday experiences. This was followed by the 2022 album Joby Slaughter, which continued to showcase his evolving artistry. Later that year, he dropped the Rain Check EP, featuring tracks that highlight his adaptability and growth as an artist. The single Like That, featuring LostJet, also debuted in 2022, adding to his diverse discography.
