“Through the Cracks” Apart’s first album tackles what we find difficult to talk about, to admit to ourselves and to others. It tells us about daily disenchantments, open wounds and things left unsaid. These deep feelings are at the core of these nine new hypersensitive tracks. It’s powerful and raw, just like the damaged car on the front cover of this first LP. Apart only retained a few fragments of its indie folk origins. The band has now evolved towards a pure electric sound but still with the same taste for a clean and harmonious tone. Then add a production by the renowned Amaury Sauvé (Birds In Row, It It Anita, W!zard, Arhios...) and the French band is ready to give Le Havre (Normandy) its place on the emo rock scene.
