Nigerian-born rapper and singer Apazon is one of the music industry's most eccentric new arrivals. Flexing his range across genres including Hip-Hop, Afro, Rap and RnB Apazon brings a
refreshing cultural perspective with his music. Hailing himself as the Nigerian Villain on his 2020
album “Nigerian Villain”, he gives the world a glimpse of life through his eyes as a Nigerian youth migrating to the UK and navigating through life in a new environment.
Prior to the release of “Nigerian Villain” in 2020, Apazon released “Memento Mori” in 2019, which featured notable artists such as T.W.I.N, Steph Lyon, $amad, Di$play Kali and Iberedem. “Memento
Mori” which translates to remember death is named as such because of Apazons life decision to
appreciate life and the things within it as opposed to fearing death which is inevitable. It was a breakthrough for him into the music scene as well as his own personal doubts and pushing beyond his limits.
Apazon’s work is greatly influenced by a handful of well-established artists which include Che ecru,
FrvrFriday, Ski mask the slump god, Nasty C and Baby keem, a lineup that’s just as versatile as his own style of music. Fellow artists he actively collaborates with and draws inspiration from include
Iberedem, Mixta Vitae and SouthBabi. “AA+” his 2021 EP is a collaboration with fellow artist
Arche.A, and an interesting project that opens with soothing R&B vocals that detail his endearing relationship with his friends.
