APCO are a group of friends from country Victoria that reconvened later in life. Getting together in a room in September 2019 to find themselves creating gutter, dirge, thrash and pop all rolled into one.
Shortly after they recorded their debut album with good friend Max Ducker (Mutton, Lost Talk, et al.) at his home studio in Fawkner. On their first, self titled record, a cacophony of punk styles are presented in various fast songs, slow songs, fast songs with slow bits and slow songs with fast bits - rife with personality.
Described by one onlooker as "bogan perfection", the band's live set is dynamic, loose and tight all at the same time.
